Katharyn Watson Saltonstall Trophy

In 1982, the Katharyn Watson Saltonstall Trophy was placed in competition for the winner of the Junior Women's Singlehanded Championship of SM Sailing. "Kathy" Saltonstall is a member of Beverly Yacht Club, a distinguished yachtswoman, and for years has been known as a benefactor and helper of young people both on and off the water. Friends from the Beverly Yacht Club presented the trophy to SM Sailing in recognition of her many contributions to young people and yachting.

The trophy was raced for in 2010 after a nine year hiatis, but participation never caught on and the trophy was retired in 2011.
